This week, I feel.....

1. disappointed - Manutd couldn't defend their Champions League title against Barca. I woke up early that morning, quickly check my Twitter but found no updates from my Manutd fan club follows. Which could only mean one thing - they lost.

2. scared like hell - I think need to go back to Ipoh for medical check up again lahh. I feel there's something really wrong with my system. I don't feel good all the time. Occasional migraine, lethargy, hair loss, pimples, neck pain, calling for sick leave almost weekly. I like Zow Zow instant noodle, but this week, I don't even feel like eating it. I ate zinc supplement daily, drank Brand's chicken essence, discarded my old pillow away but to no avail. I am afraid I have some medical condition more sinister than it apparently seemed. Hope it's as simple(?) as STRESS.

3. geram gilerr - On 28 May 2009, I gave-up on my hair. I was sooo frizzy! I woke up one morning realising I was the epitome of Charles Darwin's evolution theory. I did look like an orang utan. The mirror cracked. I sped thru LDP to my stylist in The Curve. He charged me nothing!! FOC!!! Aleluia for thoughtful people. He gave my hair a very relaxing spa and un-frizz it. My brains and head, whatever that was on top of me felt sooo much better. My hair was springy and livelier than ever. My wants: Taylor Swift's mane.

4. Over The Top - I am currently applying for jobs. I wrote my C.V. and many resumes and cover letters and proofread my credentials through many many times. Wow, I have lots of stuffs going on in me!! Five A4 papers for a C.V. is kinda OTT, eh. *Sweat*

5. finished but fulfilled - I've taught swimming for....hmmphhh...let me calculate...(where's my calculator)......June 2005-09.....kali, plus, minus, bahagi = 3 years+!! Made friends, made enemies (ya, benci sangat sama dia!), made kids cry, made kids go nuts, made my skin go bad, made tan-lines, made my hair frizz, and made many aunty-friends.

6. recessed - Yes, I feel the recession. I've been slowing down on my clubbing, shopping, and eating. My disposable income (scholarship actually) had allowed (or spoiled!) me to live a bit too luxurious as a student. This month onwards, I will not have any more income as I've stopped all my swimming. I hope to retain the weekend swimming though. Now, just recide at home and write write write, edit, read, study, and maybe apply for jobs.

**BTW, I have been given money to edit people's thesis! That's surprisingly good income!

7. Wow-ses - What a great great book - White Tiger. It made my heart beat beat beat pump pump pump even thinking about the story at this moment. Think The Kite Runner was good read? Try White Tiger. To me, it was a great read. All about the entrepreneurship in India that you can't find in China :) And how there are only two types of people in this world - man with belly and man without belly. And you decide your own future.

"Made With Love"

My brother touched down from his 51 hour flight (including transits at 4 airports) from Kansas. He said that there was no check on his flight for Influenza A, just walk-thru' the health scan system in the airport. What we thought would be a thorough >1 hr screening at KLIA on all passengers whose flights transited from NY was actually b***s**t. My brother didn't feel too well at first. But it's (hopefully) his jetlag.

My housemate got her Coach; I really didn't want anything from US. But santa bro got me a Victoria Secret microshorts and a 3 in 1 make-up case that I didn't ask for. Cost him like US$50 altogether, but it's actually dad's money/credit card. He claimed he worked for the money (he cuci pingan mangkuk at the cafeteria), but I don't trust him. So, thanks DAD!?!

I love the microshorts. It's already a MICRO-shorts and since my bro thinks I am XS, what was 'micro' became 'wah-so-damn-micro' shorts!

The microshorts from the PINK-collection are meant for collegiate students (me!) to flaunt their butts. Though my butt is not that flaunty(?) and I am never and never will be a Tyra, Karolina or whatever Angel models, still the shorts made me feel really really good. I love the whole package; it's the little little things that make your heart bounce in delight: the little pockets, the doggy print (I love dogs!), and the hemline.

VS package their things really intricately; I loved their tags that wrote the words: "Made with Love". I mean, it's such itsy-bitsy things that I take notice the most. Even the silica gel.

I know what you did last week!...and last, last week too!

Listen up, you! I know you know who you are. I dedicate this post to these you-know-who-you-are. Others not related can read up also. There's never a secret within me, eh???!??!?! :)

To Perakians and Nizar,
Congratulations to all! Pls Pls, no more tussles...and help the Perakians who has been abandoned for months. For once, we want a law passed (like murderlized all Mat Rempits; oh that's Federal law horrr). Sorry. Forgot my Pengajian Am already.

To investigator from IGB,
Thank you for the pompt response. I hope the investigation into the brick-fall incident can and will be concluded soon and come back to me when you're done. I wanna know what actually happened. I hope the one responsible is found. If not, Vouchers also I accept wann.... :P

To you, girl,
As a friend, what have been said is said. What have been done, is done for you. I don't know what to say and do for you anymore. It's only you who POSSESS the ultimate cure to solve this insomnia/depression and cry-when-no-one-is-around. Because I know you're strong, that's why I know you can make it through this. But also because you're stubborn, that's why you hold-on to it. Let go!! Some ppl take 2 years, some ppl take 2 weeks (I know who!), and some *dumb* ppl never get over it. Let me tell you the truth, the other species has ALREADY gotten over it. I know: He's gotten over it. No point bringing you anywhere (clubbing, swimming, meet new people, makan, PicknBrew) if you can't let go and move on. Because in the public, ppl can feel your insecurities and your inability to open up. Trust me, I am pro in this situation (pay me!). CAN'T MOVE ON, NO NEW LIFE. STUCK is all you get. But I know next week will be better for you. I know cause my EQ is high and I am freaking evil Gemini who knows both side of the gender's punya thinking (now pay me!). Hahahaa.......

To my boss,
Aisehh, give me a break marrr. I didn't know I have to teach lehh cause: Wesak day = public holiday = I also holiday.

To Mum,
Sorry arrr, didn't know you played reverse pyschology just like I always do to many. Karma. You did ask me not to come back to Ipoh marr during Mum's Day. You said soo mah-fun. Now you say I ngm-hou-soon to you and lonely! Nevermind, your beloved son coming back from Kansas; all my problems (with u) solved. Kakakakkaa!!!

To Ivy Chai,
GO TO SLEEP , god-damnit. It's 2.50am.

Post remove.

I've removed the latest post due for my fear for any counter-productive/contradictory msgs conveyed across the net related to that post. I have already drafted a formal complain regarding the latest incident affecting me.

Cheers!

That's HOT....!

Let say something first before I go into my 'main' points ....hehehee...(as if damn pro):

I often complain and bitch about things I can't control. God help me! There were too much rain (since CNY), but this week.....woooo...*sweat*.....the sun is HOT HOT HOT. Last last last last week was also hot but at least there was downpour somewhere some nights. BUT THIS WEEK, I swear to you, it's just plain HOT!

OK, enough complaining:

1. HOT - cause the Cleo Bachelors were exactly that!! It was kinda breezy cool at our VIP seats @ Zouk, but when the 8 Bachelors started to show off their 6-packs, butts, triceps, biceps and you name it.....and even wearing such a turn-off-ah-pek pagoda singlet (actually it's kinda cute)..... I STARTED TO SWEAT!!!! The eyes are sooo strong, it signals the brain to sweat. Dopamin! Only now did I understand what it meant by 'hot' guys cause this is the first time I broke in sweat naturally. No need excercising. Just watch a hot guy doing some boogey dance and you will start to feel hot. Literally.

2. Didn't know that Debenhams has got cheap but quality stuff sitting on their hangers. When you hear Debenhams, you will freak out. That was our first impression, but it is now a false impression. Yes, the things there are generally expensive but mind you, bras and panties there are HOT and cheaper than Xixili or LaSenza with equivalent, if not better quality. HOT and sexy stuffs....

3. HOT - because tomorrow's my final presentation and I can feel the heat already. From tomorrow onwards, I might've gotten myself valuable feedbacks from my peers, whom many of them don't even know what the hell I have been doing in the faculty for 3 years+. Then, I will have quit ALL my swimming classes in June. Can't wait for my ultimate escape from the morning sun which has caused pigmentations on my skin. This is what 3 years of accumulated sun-tan can do to your youth. It's a fact, I'll never get my original skin back. Never. Unless with hot laser. And now, pimples outbreak pulak. Sob Sob......A trade-off between beauty for money.

4. But Bali will be my next HOTspot! I'll be there with Jonie from 7-10 August together with my Indon friend and Philippines girl-friend. My Indon friend has a car in Bali and has an uncle who owns a budget hotel. Wooo.....!
U know what, anyone can join us! Interested? Just text/email me for details.

All set!! Money also got, Love also got, Property also got, Holiday also got, Stress also got. Only good skin don't have.....(oh ya, got make-up hoh....) I really love my HOT life right now :)

P/S: About PetitePink - after my presentation, I can focus on procuring more clothes of YOUR liking soon! Check out for updates.

Serious business: PETITE-PINK

FP and I came out with this idea in just ONE day and everything was set up within a week. What we enjoy about this new venture of ours is that:

1. It's easy. Actually, not quite, as we had to learnt html ourselves to set up the blog of our liking. It was difficult stuff for us as we are not IT-savvy ppl....okay?!

2. Low start-up cost. Because it just is. Nope, we don't hire cameramen, we have our very own fat bodies as models, and we don't need IT experts.

3. I believe this is what I like & what she likes: I like writing and my fat ass just sits in front of the internet every minute. She likes fashion and clothings. Done!

4. I face the internet every minute if I don't swim or sleep. This new venture allows me to work and get busy on something other than my silly thesis.

Pink is The Poser. If you didn't notice, the blog is named after her. No,no,no, I am not letting her take all the credit as all she does is only poses for ALL of our clothings which is pretty easy....?! NOT!! She is the creative director for the items and the website. I have to give it up for her though as I can confidently say she's quite savvy in html language now!

I am the CFO-cum-UFO....which can only mean I do the accounting and the scientific research (basically just Googling) on fashion/clothings and plagiarize online articles :P More importantly, I will have to counter and discharge all negativities of our e-business and/or misle the public about our prices.

BUT let's get serious: Click onto our website: http://petite-pink.blogspot.com/ and browse around our items. Leave us comments on how we can improve to serve you better. Really.

I am loving April!

It's April 09!!!! And before you know it will be December 09 soon...time flies!!

Time flew pass me too quickly and I which I had a time machine to turn back time. But I am somehow, somehow very glad to have arrived at the month of April.

Why I need April soo badly and to put March behind me real quickly:

1. My laptop hard-disk crashed on me. I cried. My housemate said I trembled soo bad, I might had fits. I was screaming but no voice came out cause I had no voice. NO voice because my health on March was extremely bad that IN every week in the horrible month of March, I had at least a disease worst than the ugly vocab of Chikugunya - it usually turned out to be a cold, a runny nose, a cough, a sore-throat or a no-voice problem. Somtimes I feel like God's giving me an MCQ on my health so that I can choose which disease I want for that week (or Semua Di Atas!). So, the day my hard-disk betrayed me was the week that I had almost no voice! NO VOICE!! You deemed yourselves lucky as I was having my PMS that week and my greatest weapon (viz. voice) was not working.

Ish Ish Ish....but I thank God for my brainy decision months before to backup my Ph.D. work. Tada!!! introducing my beloved Google Docs and Office Live Workspace! Though one week worth of writings were lost.....SOB SOB!!!! :( ......at least I've got to retrieve some significant work from those backups. As of now, I will continue to type from my online office.

(BTW, I've gotten myself a new hard disk di!)

2. Okay, you guys have been saying that my housemate and I were crazy ppl that never stop having ideas of doing this and that, but it's never done or even never got started. Pink is the ultimate procrastinator, while I am tag hugely with the ugly word 'complacency'. However:
Actually, behind your backs, we have done something......very big, but it is a still a big secret. That's one reason why we can't wait for APRIL to come! We will both reveal it soon.

Oh, how our mums are going to kill us :P

And It's the School Holidays!

What's cool is that most of my kids are from the kindergartens, so if school's out, so is swimming!! (applicable on weekdays only)

KL first. I went to Ikea sale, also quickly got my hair trimmed and pampered at my regular stylist at Curve (since there was no swimming for 4 days straight). Finished Yate's 'Revolutionary Road' in surprising 3 days. Also got to complete certain important sub-chapters of my dissertation. And not forgetting Alan brought my parents to buy a new sophisticated sewing machine. Win-win situation for all.

In Ipoh. The last time I came back was CNY in January. I ate 3 char kuay teows from 3 different areas in Ipoh for 3 days, and I highly recommend the char-kuay teow @ Hollywood hawker corner lot at Canning Gardens (it has always been well known though), but their drinks service has always sucked big time there. Only when I was about to finish my noodles, the drinks came. As usual, no other significant doings in Ipoh.

Holy-moly stuffs I did this week:

1. Holy-moly-ly bought a new swim-suit when I have tonnes at home. Not quite a swim-suit but a more like a long-sleeve swim top.

2. Accidentally found my old authentic CK skirt-jeans which cost close to RM400 and planned to modify/alter it (MYSELF!) though Miracle Man's help may be needed.

3. First time travelling back to KL from Ipoh by KTM train. Watched 'Fun with Dick and Jane' on board on their wide screen Samsung LCD. KTM! Wooots! Woots!

4. Went to the 3K Hotel, Sunway for bargains of clothes and accessories! Bought 2 clinchers and a dress in all less than RM100. Actually, they were all online boutiques coming out to show off their stuffs beyond the virtual world. Spotted my fav. online shops - Attire's Attic and Chocolate Buttons - and got to touch their barangs for the first time.
The dress I bought from the bazaar. Surprisingly, it's a yellow piece.

5. Went to Genting Highlands with Alan and Eddy with Eddy's new & (over-modified) Honda Civic. With body kit, spoiler and 17-inch sportrim and what not, he ran thrU' 6 corners at 100 km/h. I cursed him the whole way up but alas kissed him for winning RM50 for me on the roulette which is good enough for a kiasu (and kiasi) like me.

Genting - 21 March 09, 2am

6. I found a broken-english notice board in Genting. It screams CHINA for a renown company like Baskins.

.

.
I actually did say well-done to myself for this week.

The Ultimate Question

Darn...my parents are here in KL. That means I am bombarded by nothing else but phrases very much related to CLEANLINESS e.g. "Why the floor soo sticky?", "Why the cupboard and TV sooo dusty?", "Why the ceiling got spider-web?" (that's why I'm an 'avid' entomologist, mum!)" or worst of all: "Why don't you cook everyday since soo things so expensive now?". (kinda contradictory, 'cause cooking means getting the house oily and that's why I seldom cook, get it!?).

But this time round, I was thrown one question that I would never expect from my parents. And it went somthing like that:

"When are you getting married? We will be very happy for you if you get married too, u know. It's about time you THINK ABOUT IT. You arr...never even think about it. Married is a good thing, but make sure you're happy with him........Not enough money to start a new life?? There's never enough money to start a new life! If he thinks about you, he'll marry you when he loves you, not when he found money, or car, or big house. Life starts automatically, money or no money. If you wait for car, money, bungalow, everything to turn up beautifully and then only you get married, I'm sure he's a 45-year-old guy by then".

"If he loves you and he THINKS about YOU, he'll marry you now, cause he'll THINKS about the kids you will be bearing and not himself solely. He should understand that you should have the FIRST child beyond 30. It's risky as I've seen soo many Down syndrome cases and complications as I took care of kids along already, etc. etc. etc. ............"

And then, Dad added, "Last time when we married your mum, I was without savings. Now I millionaire"
Ohhh...Dad (when were you ever a millionaire, duh! Say little when you nothing to say next time. In a good way, I believe Beh should concur my Dad's statement.

I answered, "I know lah...er...er...er...but I also dunno lah, up to him also watt because his life's philosophy is......". Since the night FP, Callie and I went to watch Bride's War, I do not think about how my marriage day or the 'aftermath' of it would be. What triggers the question from my parents could be at that moment of conversation there was this news in E! Channel about Madonna and whatever kiddo she's living in now and Jennifer Aniston with that John Mayer dating life on air. Parents caught up with Hollywood?! Or maybe earlier I told my parents about my to-date THREE invitations to weddings in 2009 already.

This month has been a self-relfection time for me too. They call it the Crossroad. These are the times I loathe but will consequently face.

1. I always make my Ph.D. number one priority. Finish it first, then only we talk about other things, k? Which will subsequently come to point no. 2:

2. I will marry only when I start working. Which is NOT teaching swimming although it could earn me more than my future job.

3. Uncle Kuok needs me to work a proper job. Which is NOT teaching swimming.

4. I have a house, a car, and savings. But I have not found my true passion yet. Which is NOT Salsa. Which is definitely not insects. Not shopping. It was Aikido. Maybe it IS swimming? Writing? I don't know.....

5. Marriage comes naturally, and it comes from the male-side of things (Of course mar, I propose to him meh?!)

6. Almost forgot: I need a man.

My dad came out with a simple solution: Engage first.

.
.
.

.

.

Wait........ isn't that Marriage too?!
